It is recommended to replace strut mounts when installing new strut assemblies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

This crucial component secures the top of the strut to the vehicle's chassis and functions as the steering pivot point. As a frequent wear item, strut mounts can degrade over time, particularly on higher-mileage vehicles. Symptoms of a failing strut mount include clunking noises over bumps, excessive vibrations felt in the steering wheel or chassis, poor steering response, uneven tire wear, and increased body roll during cornering. Replacing strut mounts concurrently with new strut assemblies is recommended to maintain optimal suspension performance and extend component lifespan. This Corteco strut mount is manufactured in China and meets Original Equipment (OE) quality standards. It is designed to replace OE part number 2043201273 and manufacturer number 3329201. Corteco is a well-respected brand, often considered an OE or OEM supplier for many European models, with many of their parts produced on the same lines as original equipment. This strut mount is compatible with a wide range of Mercedes-Benz models, including the C250, C300, C350, E350, E400, and E550. However, it is important to note specific fitment restrictions. This part is not for cars equipped with the Vehicle Dynamics Package (Code 483). Additionally, it is recommended to use one Corteco Strut Mount Dust Cap (part number 204 323 04 38) when installing this strut mount.
