The 034Motorsport DSG Software Upgrade is a TCU calibration designed for Mk7.5 Volkswagen and 8S/8V Audi models featuring the DQ381 transmission. This software is flashed directly through your vehicle's OBD-II port, allowing for a seamless upgrade process. It optimizes the transmission's operation to complement Stage 1 and Stage 2 Performance ECU Software, yielding a noticeable improvement in acceleration while maintaining comfort and reliability. Developed entirely in-house on 034Motorsport's Development Mk7.5 Volkswagen GTI and refined on multiple enthusiast-owned cars worldwide, this software enhances performance through several key features. It increases DSG clutch clamping force, ensuring power is transferred efficiently. Shift times are dramatically decreased in all driving modes for quicker acceleration. Additionally, shift points are optimized in Drive and Sport modes to maximize acceleration with the increased powerband. The software also improves overall responsiveness, enables launch control on all models, and displays the gear indicator on the MFD in all driving modes. The launch RPM is raised to 4500RPM max and can be adjusted based on pedal input for maximum force off the line. Installation is facilitated through 034Motorsport's Dynamic+ End User Flashing Kit R4 and the companion 034SPI Mobile App, available for iOS and Android devices. The kit includes an OBD-II adapter, USB cables, and a carrying case. The app allows for flashing, changing fuel maps, configuring live data displays, submitting data logs, and clearing DTC/CEL codes. Requirements for flashing include a Windows laptop or Apple Silicon Mac, a stable internet connection, and a battery charger.
