The 2JR STS is a Nismo-style short throw shifter, expertly crafted for Nissan enthusiasts seeking a more precise and engaging driving experience. This billet shifter assembly is designed to reduce gear throw by a significant 30%, offering a more direct and positive engagement with each gear. Constructed from billet material, the 2JR STS aims to enhance shifting feel without placing undue stress on the shifter cables, a common issue with other short throw shifter designs that can lead to breakage. While it provides a superior shift, a slight "tink" sound may be noticeable during gear changes due to the solid construction of the billet assembly. This shifter is an excellent upgrade for your Nissan, particularly when combined with 2JR's optional delrin shifter bushings for an even crisper and more connected feel. This shifter is compatible with the 2002-2006 Sentra B15 models and the 2002-2003 Altima/Maxima. Note that specific interior and transmission bushing kits may apply differently depending on the year; the 2004 Sentra may require measuring the top cable ring outer diameter. It is available in red, with black being sold out.
