The ARP Head Stud Kit (PN 203-4205) is engineered to provide enhanced clamping force and reliability for Toyota 2JZGE and 2JZGTE engines. Manufactured from premium-grade 8740 alloy, these studs undergo a rigorous heat treatment process, reaching a tensile strength of 200,000 PSI. This ensures that the material achieves complete heat penetration for superior performance compared to lesser-quality alternatives. ARP employs a meticulous manufacturing process, including centerless grinding each stud to achieve the highest possible concentricity, resulting in an exceptionally straight component. Furthermore, the threads are rolled after heat treatment, a practice that significantly increases fatigue strength by approximately 1000% compared to studs threaded before heat treatment. This commitment to quality and advanced manufacturing techniques ensures a durable and high-performing product. This kit is specifically designed for the 1993-1999 Toyota Supra MKIV 3.0L 2JZGE and 2JZ-GTE Turbo engines. It contains all the necessary components for installation, including ARP head studs, parallel ground washers, 8740 chromoly steel 12-point nuts, and a 0.5 oz. pack of ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant. The included lubricant is crucial for achieving the proper torque specifications during installation.
