Sub Control System

The HKS Sub Control System (Code No. 42011-AT035) is an engine control device specifically engineered for the GR86/BRZ models featuring the TOYOTA D-4S injection system and equipped with a bolt-on turbo or supercharger. This system utilizes the F-CON iS for optimized engine management. Installation is simplified with a included coupler-on harness, eliminating the need to cut factory wiring. The device comes pre-loaded with data tailored for the HKS GT2 SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM, even when using the supplied D43mm restrictor. It also supports fuel upgrades involving larger capacity port-side injectors, allowing for increased power output, though this necessitates data resetting. Performance testing conducted by HKS shows a significant increase in power and torque when using this Sub Control System with the GT2 Supercharger. The system achieves a maximum power output of 218 kW (297 PS) at 6,470 rpm and a maximum torque of 343 N・m (35.0 kgf・m) at 5,600 rpm, with a maximum boost pressure of 46 kPa (0.47 kgf/cm²) at 5,700 rpm. This represents a substantial improvement over the stock engine's performance. Installation requires cutting grommets to route the harness into the interior. Importantly, this unit cannot be used with other products that connect to the OBD2 connector, as it requires OBD2 data for control and utilizes a dedicated harness connection. Due to the significant power increase, the stock catalytic converter may be strained and potentially damaged; HKS highly recommends simultaneous replacement with their Super Manifold GT Spec [33005-AT010]. Data resetting services must be performed by an HKS authorized shop.
