It features 1/2-inch thick flanges to resist warping and includes a support bracket for secure mounting.

The MAPerformance Subaru 4-1 Equal Length Header improves exhaust gas efficiency for EJ20 and EJ25 engines through a precision-engineered 4-1 design. Constructed from 304 RathGibson stainless steel, the manifold features 1.750-inch runners that merge into a 2.25-inch up-pipe, capped by flat-sanded 1/2-inch flanges to ensure a leak-free seal. An included header support bracket is provided to reinforce the assembly, particularly for up-pipes lacking upper mounting points. Compatibility covers multiple Subaru models, including 2002-2005 Impreza WRX (EJ20), 2006-2014 Impreza WRX, 2004-2013 Forester XT, 2005-2012 Legacy GT, 2004-2007/2008-2018 Impreza WRX STI, and 2019+ WRX STI with the EJ engine. For installations on EJ20 or 2004-2005 STI models, the stock oil pan may be incompatible, requiring an upgrade to an 06+ oil pan and dipstick assembly. Users should be aware of potential clearance requirements during installation. When using an aftermarket radiator, the passenger side lower fan shroud may require trimming. If utilizing the optional thermal ceramic coating, the material requires a specific curing process; the vehicle should be allowed to reach operating temperature and then cool completely before subjecting the manifold to heavy load to prevent coating flaking.
