Overview

The Extreme Turbo Systems 22+ Subaru WRX Front Mount Intercooler is designed to combat heat soak for improved performance. Unlike universal designs, ETS custom-engineers each core for optimal performance. This intercooler features an offset and staggered internal and external fin pack for maximum heat transfer and flow.

It is designed specifically for the 2022+ WRX.

Show original supplier description

The Extreme Turbo Systems 22+ Subaru WRX Front Mount Intercooler is engineered to address heat soak and enhance performance in the 2022+ Subaru WRX. ETS takes a custom approach, designing each intercooler core specifically for its application to deliver the best possible performance. The core utilizes an offset and staggered internal and external fin pack; the external fins are dense for maximum heat transfer, while the internal fins are less dense to maximize flow and performance, achieving a crucial balance. This intercooler is built for performance, featuring hand-ported inlets and outlets to minimize turbulence and promote maximum airflow through the core. This attention to detail prevents the issues associated with cheaper alternatives that may use a straight-through fin pack, leading to higher intake air temperatures, timing reductions, knock, misfires, and detonation. **NOTE:** This Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) kit **requires** an ETS Intake and will **not fit** with the OEM Intake/Air Box. The kit includes a 3.0" Intercooler Core with ETS logo, a piping kit with a wrinkle black finish, billet throttle body and turbo outlet adapters, silicone couplers, T-Bolt clamps, and mounting brackets with hardware.
