Subframe Alignment Kit

The CTS Turbo Billet Subframe Bushing Insert Kit is engineered to resolve the common subframe clunk and shifting experienced in many MK5 and MK6 vehicles. This is often caused by the stretching and failure of the original equipment (OE) bolts. By reducing the large factory tolerances at the subframe mounting points, this kit provides a correct and lasting repair. Constructed from durable T6061 billet aluminum, the kit includes interlocking subframe shims that precisely center the subframe to the vehicle's body. It also utilizes OE replacement stretch bolts to ensure proper fit and function. The kit components comprise six upper inserts, six lower inserts, four short OE bolts, and two long OE bolts. Installation of this subframe bushing insert kit requires a subsequent wheel alignment. It is crucial to note specific fitment details: the kit is compatible with MK5 GTI/GLI/R32/Jetta/Rabbit, MK2 Audi TT/TTS/TTRS, and B6 Passat/Passat CC models. For MK6 GTI/Golf R/Golf, it is compatible only with aluminum subframes and will not fit Jettas equipped with a steel subframe. Additionally, it fits 8P Audi A3/S3 models.
