The TyrolSport Rear Deadset Subframe Kit is engineered to eliminate subframe shifting issues, particularly on the mk5/6 chassis. By concentrically locating the rear subframe mounting position, this kit provides a more planted and stable driving experience. The collars are precision-machined from 954 Billet Bronze Alloy, ensuring exceptional strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. This kit includes 8 brass pieces and 4 OEM bolts, making for a straightforward installation. It is designed specifically for front-wheel-drive vehicles. The "deadset" design refers to its function in rigidly locking the subframe into place, preventing unwanted movement and improving overall chassis rigidity. This can lead to a more direct feel from the suspension and improved handling characteristics, especially under load.
