SUBURBAN WATER HEATER SW12DE (12 GAL) ELECTRIC DIRECT SPARK IGNITION

The Suburban SW12DE Direct Spark Ignition Gas/Electric Water Heater is a 12-gallon unit for RVs. It features direct spark ignition, gas/electric operation, and a 1440-watt Incoloy electric element compatible with campground power. It has a high recovery rate of 12,000 BTU/hour. The porcelain steel tank with foam insulation includes a replaceable anode rod. Housed in a one-piece, die-formed casing, it fits existing cut-out openings. It offers 6.1 gallons/hour recovery on electric power alone, or 16.2 gallons/hour when combined with gas. The unit is pressure tested twice during manufacturing. An indoor-mounted ignition control switch is required (sold separately). It includes a convenient exterior gas line connection and a copolymer insulation jacket for heat retention, ensuring ample hot water and minimizing cool water cycles for RV users.
