The Sulastic SC-07HD Rubber Spring Shackles are designed to smooth out the ride of heavy-duty trucks, especially those with leaf-spring suspensions and empty beds. These shackles replace rigid factory shackles with a compressible unit containing a rubber spring. This provides an elastic suspension that effectively minimizes or eliminates vibrations and sudden shocks caused by leaf springs, thereby enhancing safety and overall handling. The rubber springs do not compromise the truck's load-carrying capacity, and the ride height remains nearly the same as stock, deviating by no more than a quarter inch.
