The Suncoast 10R140 Transmission Category 2 is an upgraded transmission assembly designed for high-horsepower engines. It features a wide 7.39 gear ratio spread and a low 4.70 first gear for enhanced off-the-line performance. The transmission incorporates a newly designed thermal flow control filter with dual media for superior filtration.

This assembly includes upgraded Raybestos Powertrain GPZ friction plates, steel plates, an OEM filter, an upgraded pump assembly, and a performance overhaul kit. The expanded capacity clutch modules increase longevity and performance, addressing known weak points like the "E" and "F" clutches.
