Overview

The Suncoast Performance SC-10R60-CAT2B (also referred to as SCP-SC-10R60-CAT2 and SC-10R60-30-CAT2) is a Category 2 Raybestos Transmission Rebuild Kit specifically engineered for the Ford 10R60 10-speed automatic transmission. This kit is designed to significantly enhance the durability and performance of high-horsepower engines in compatible vehicles. Key features include Raybestos Powertrain GPZ friction plates, which are proven to outperform original equipment (OE) materials by up to 20%, offering increased heat resistance, greater torque capacity, and smoother engagements. The kit also addresses inherent weaknesses in the 10R60's "E" and "F" clutches by increasing clutch capacity by a substantial 20%, transforming the factory 4-clutch stack-up to a more robust 5-clutch configuration, and utilizing 6 full-thickness steels instead of 5. Installation requires no machining, as the expanded capacity clutch modules are direct drop-in replacements. Additionally, the kit includes a newly designed thermal flow control filter with both fine and coarse media for superior filtration, adapting to oil viscosity changes with a thermal plate. This comprehensive rebuild kit is ideal for applications in 2020+ Ford Explorer ST, 2021+ Ford Bronco 2.3L/2.7L, and Lincoln Aviator 3.0L.
