The Sun Coast Converters 401613SC is a 2-Speed Max Duty Outlaw T400 Transmission designed for high-horsepower racing applications. It features an ATI Aluminum Transbrake, SFI SuperCase with SFI Chevy Bell, a 1.48 Low Gear with Helical 5-Pinion, and increased clutch capacity. It is compatible with General Motors vehicles utilizing the TH400 transmission platform and Big Block Chevy (BBC) or Small Block Chevy (SBC) engines. The unit is rated for up to 1800 HP in OEM cased units and over 2000 HP with an ATI SuperCase. It includes a blueprinted high-flow front pump, severe duty direct drum, Vasco shafts, and a deep aluminum cast pan.
