The Suncoast 47RE transmission is rated at 550hp, ideal for towing, hauling, or modified vehicles. Key upgrades include a four-ring billet accumulator piston, a larger four-ring billet intermediate band servo, billet band anchor, strut, and apply lever, and a pro-series carbon graphite band. The valve body and pump are recalibrated with a laser-cut, SunCoast-proprietary separator plate for optimal line pressure and increased volume. It features a billet one-piece input shaft (300 maraging steel, heat-treated, stress-relieved, precision-ground), new overdrive and lockup solenoids, a new governor pressure sensor (transducer), and an upgraded DNJ billet solenoid housing and governor solenoid. The package includes a Category 1 Billet Triple-disc Torque Converter with carbon graphite clutch material, a CNC-machined forged billet apply piston, and a billet cover.
