Rated at 550hp, this Suncoast 47RE transmission is an upgrade for towing/hauling or slightly modified vehicles. It features upgraded components for improved performance and hydraulic integrity: billet accumulator piston, larger billet servo, billet band anchor, billet band strut, billet apply lever, and a pro-series carbon graphite band. The valve body and pump are recalibrated with a new laser-cut, SunCoast-proprietary plate for optimal line pressure and increased volume. It includes a billet one-piece input shaft (300 maraging steel, heat-treated, stress-relieved), new overdrive/lockup solenoids, upgraded governor pressure sensor (transducer), DNJ billet solenoid housing, and an upgraded governor solenoid. A Category 1 Billet Triple-disc Torque Converter (carbon graphite clutch, CNC-machined, forged billet apply piston, billet cover) is included, with a modified stall converter.
