The Sun Coast Converters SC-47RECAT3-99502-4WD-LCF is a Category 3, 600HP rated 47RE Transmission with a matching torque converter. This heavy-duty transmission is designed for enhanced performance and durability in applications involving towing, hauling, or modified vehicles. Key upgrades include a custom calibrated lab-tested valve body, high-flow 48RE filter, new front pump bushing, thrust washers, and Torrington thrust bearings. It features a billet accumulator piston with a four-ring sealing design, a larger billet intermediate servo with four-ring sealing (Teflon and O-ring), a custom ratio billet band lever, billet band strut, and billet band anchor. The band itself is a pro-series, carbon graphite unit for improved friction. The transmission also comes with new overdrive and lockup solenoids, an upgraded governor solenoid, and a DNJ billet solenoid housing. The billet triple disc torque converter features carbon graphite clutch material and a precision-CNC-machined, forged billet apply piston for deflection-free performance. A 23-spline billet input shaft, made from 300 maraging steel, is included, along with a billet SFI certified flexplate. Each valve body and pump is custom built for individual needs (towing, street performance, or track). It comes with a 3-year unlimited mile warranty.
