The Suncoast 47RE transmission is rated at 750hp. It's an upgrade for towing, hauling, or heavily modified vehicles. Key components are upgraded for performance and hydraulic integrity. The plastic factory accumulator piston is replaced with an improved billet piston. Intermediate band circuit issues are addressed by replacing the factory cast servo with a larger billet servo, adding a billet band anchor, billet band strut, and a billet apply lever. The band is upgraded to a pro-series, carbon-graphitic band. The valve body and pump are recalibrated, and the separator plate is replaced with a new laser-cut, SunCoast-proprietary plate for optimal line pressure and increased volume. Each valve body and pump is custom built for individual needs (towing, street performance, or track). This kit includes a billet one-piece input shaft made from 300 maraging steel, heat-treated and stress-relieved. It also comes with new overdrive and lockup solenoids, and the governor pressure sensor (transducer) is replaced. All new 47RE transmissions are upgraded with the DNJ billet solenoid housing and upgraded governor solenoid. This 750 horsepower transmission also includes a billet SFI certified flex plate.
