The new Suncoast 47RE transmission is a high-performance upgrade rated for 700hp, ideal for towing, hauling, or heavily modified vehicles. It features numerous enhancements for improved performance and hydraulic integrity. Key upgrades include a billet four-ring sealing accumulator piston replacing the factory plastic unit, and a larger billet four-ring intermediate band servo with improved apply pressure and release. The band circuit is further reinforced with a billet band anchor, strut, and apply lever, complemented by a pro-series carbon graphite band. The valve body and pump are recalibrated with a proprietary laser-cut separator plate for optimal line pressure and increased volume, custom-built for specific needs (towing, street, or track). A billet one-piece input shaft, crafted from 300 maraging steel, is heat-treated and stress-relieved for high torque applications. The transmission comes with new overdrive and lockup solenoids, an upgraded governor pressure sensor, a DNJ billet solenoid housing, and an upgraded governor solenoid. It is paired with a billet triple disc torque converter featuring carbon graphite clutch material and a precision-CNC-machined, forged billet apply piston for enduring performance, along with a billet SFI certified flex plate.
