This is a comprehensive rebuild kit for the 48RE transmission, rated for up to 600hp. It includes numerous upgraded components designed to improve performance, reliability, and hydraulic integrity over the stock unit, such as upgraded clutch packs, a custom machined overdrive pressure plate, high-flow transmission filter, and SunCoast custom billet carbon fiber band. The kit also features a billet input shaft, billet flexplate, new overdrive and lockup solenoids, an upgraded governor solenoid, and a billet triple disc torque converter. A double deep trans pan increases fluid volume for heat dissipation, and the recalibrated valve body and pump ensure optimal line pressure and increased volume.
