The Suncoast 48RE transmission (600hp) is an upgrade for towing/hauling or modified vehicles. Key upgrades include a four-ring billet accumulator piston, a larger billet four-ring intermediate band servo, billet band anchor, strut, and apply lever, and a pro-series carbon-graphitic band. The valve body and pump are recalibrated with a proprietary laser-cut separator plate for optimal line pressure and increased volume. It features a billet one-piece input shaft made from 300 maraging steel, new overdrive and lockup solenoids, an upgraded governor pressure sensor (transducer), DNJ billet solenoid housing, and upgraded governor solenoid. The included billet triple disc torque converter has carbon-graphitic clutch material and a precision-CNC-machined, forged billet apply piston. This kit also comes with a billet SFI certified flex plate.
