The Sun Coast SC-6R140CAT2-1719-4WD Category 2 Transmission with Converter is a performance upgrade for 2017-2019 Ford F-250/F-350 6.7L Powerstroke 4WD diesel trucks. It's designed for extreme towing, hauling, and high-performance applications, offering superior durability, smoother shifts, and enhanced towing capabilities compared to the factory transmission. Assembled in the USA, it features high-quality components for long-lasting performance. Key features include an increased clutch count, resolution of factory lubrication issues, and easy, modification-free installation. Internal components are reinforced, including a 4-5-6 Overdrive Clutch Pack and a patented E-Clutch Hub Damper to eliminate the 3-4 gear “squawk.” It also has a custom-machined Overdrive Apply Piston and an upgraded factory pump with a new high-performance pump bearing. The transmission uses premium carbon graphitic clutches, custom-machined steels, and an upgraded valve body. It comes with a high-performance billet triple-disc torque converter with a long-travel, ultra-high-capacity turbine damper and multiple stall speed options. This “Category 2” transmission is rated for 550HP.
