This rebuild kit includes a filter, overhaul kit, and gaskets. Designed for enhanced longevity in factory stock vehicles with improved frictions and steels. The Ford 6R140 Torqshift transmission features a robust one-piece bell housing preventing torsional flex, a deep first gear for towing, and double overdrive for fuel economy, with six forward gears. Patented Lepelletier geartrain uses five clutch sets for six gears. Further strengthened by a powder-metal carrier within the compound Ravigneaux planetary gearset.
