Suncoast 6R140 CAT 3 650 HP TRANS WITH CONVERTER 2011-2016 2WD SC-6R140CAT3-1116-4WD $2000 Core Charge Applies

This is a Category 3 transmission with converter for the Ford 6R140 Torqshift transmission. It replaces the previous 5R110 unit and was designed and manufactured by Ford Motor Company for the 6.7L Powerstroke powerplant. It features a robust one-piece bell housing, six forward gears with specific ratios (1st: 3.974:1, 2nd: 2.318:1, 3rd: 1.516:1, 4th: 1.149:1, 5th: 0.858:1, 6th: 0.674:1), a Lepelletier geartrain with five clutch sets, and a powder-metal carrier within the compound Ravigneaux planetary gearset. The torque converter incorporates an exclusive long travel, ultra high capacity turbine damper. SunCoast has improved upon the 4-5-6 clutch pack (E-CLUTCH) by designing a new clutch hub with a damper assembly and Sound Reduction/Absorption Technology, eliminating 'squawk' and restoring shift quality. This patented SunCoast E Clutch Hub Damper has been tested reliably to over 1,000hp. The new 4-5-6 'E' clutch power pack uses nine custom frictions for improved performance and reliability.
