Kit contains: SunCoast custom clutch packs, custom Steels, custom billet plates, custom overhaul kit, Valve body calibration kit, SunCoast gasket kit, Pan Filter, Spin on filter, Pan gasket, SunCoast Filter Loc, New internal wiring harness, SunCoast Triple Disc Billet Category 1 Converter, Billet SFI certified Flexplate, Billet Input Shaft, Billet P2 planet assembly, Billet C2 clutch hub, Modified Sun Gear. SunCoast Category kits use friction materials and steel technology from Alto and Raybestos, with proprietary SunCoast exclusive product lines. Allison Transmission's 1000 and 2000 Series (5-speed, 2001+ GM Duramax) are factory-rated up to 400 horsepower. This kit features proprietary C1, C2, C3, and C4 Alto carbonite frictions/Raybestos SCZ frictions (no center slots), redesigned apply pistons with improved rubber compounds, custom SunCoast apply plate for fluid redirection, exclusive smart trim/clutch control valve, and all items to modify the C2 clutch piston for increased durability. The Billet SFI certified Flexplate replaces the weak factory flex plate with an improved billet steel one-piece design. The Allison billet input shaft is 9310 Vacumelt steel, increasing torsional fatigue strength by over 50%. Includes a new GM internal wiring harness. The factory C2 clutch hub is replaced with a stronger billet 4140 heat-treated stress-relieved steel piece. The P2 planet is made from 4140 billet steel and induction hardened, recommended for higher horsepower applications.
