The SunCoast Category 3 Transmission features advanced friction materials and steel technology from Alto and Raybestos. These kits are internally designed and manufactured by SunCoast for precise specifications, suitable for towing, sled pulling, racing, or daily driving. Allison 1000 torque converters come in various configurations for different uses, equipped with heavy-duty forged billet steel covers. All SunCoast Allison 1000 torque converters include custom pump and turbine modifications, Tig welding for reinforcement, and proprietary trapezoidal clutch teeth on the billet triple-disc converter.
