The Sun Coast Converters 10R80 CDF Triple Drum Hub Assembly with Anti-Walk Bushing Update addresses a common issue in Ford's 10R80 transmission where the original CDF drum design allowed the bushing to move, potentially blocking ports to the clutch packs and causing transmission problems. Ford introduced a lip to the drum to prevent the sleeve from walking out, and this updated design is incorporated into part numbers like JL3Z-7H351-B. This part is a direct replacement for Ford part numbers HL3Z-7H351-A and JL3Z-7H351-A.
