Description

The Sun Coast Converters forward clutch hub washer is a steel replacement component designed to reduce excessive front unit endplay in TH400, 4L80-E, and 4L85-E transmissions. By taking up play between the forward clutch hub and the direct clutch housing, this .078-inch thick washer helps stabilize the direct drum and prevents premature wear on internal components.

This pack includes five washers intended to salvage valuable transmission hard parts. They serve as a correction for issues caused by resurfaced pumps or accumulated shaft spline wear that lead to forward clutch and sealing ring failure.
