MIA's Description

The Sonnax 57510-01 is a high RPM checkball capsule designed for racing applications. It is calibrated to prevent pressure drops in GM TH400 and Powerglide transmissions operating above 5500 RPM.

Official testing indicates that standard checkballs can become unreliable at higher speeds, leading to a loss of line pressure or converter pressure. This capsule is a replacement for the checkball in pistons or drums.

The Sonnax 57510-01 can be installed in TH400 pistons or drums and in Powerglide drums that feature four bleed holes. It is compatible with stock transmission pistons and drums.
