Suncoast Converters Smart-Tech Input Housing Kit with Heavy Duty Input Shaft - 300mm Reluctor Style 77733-12KB

This kit replaces the OE input housing in GM 4L60-series transmissions. It features a physically larger clutch pack area for increased 3-4 clutch capacity, an anchored backing plate to prevent flex and heat buildup, a 100% new housing optimized for input shaft fitment, a steel reinforcement sleeve to prevent breakage, and a high-strength 300M input shaft. It can be used with eight .067" frictions and seven .095" steels, or nine .062" frictions and eight .077" steels. It requires a '91-later 3-4 apply ring, '87-later ring gear, and '97-later stamped steel forward piston. It cannot be used with early-style '83-'96 aluminum forward piston.
