The SunCoast Category 3 E4OD transmission is a high-performance assembly designed for durability and optimized performance. It includes a bushing kit, TransGo Tugger Kit, new solenoid pack, 45 element intermediate sprag, carbon fiber intermediate band, billet 300 maraging input shaft, and a billet forward clutch drum. The assembly features Alto Red Eagle clutches with Kolene steels, known for high friction coefficients and heat resistance. The included SunCoast Category 1 Billet Triple-Disc Torque Converter features furnace-brazed fins, hardened turbine splines, and carbon graphite clutches, engineered for heavy-duty towing and hauling (not intended for racing), and comes with a 3-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. The upgraded 45 element intermediate sprag enhances durability under high fatigue. The TransGo HD2 Tugger Kit provides adjustable shift firmness and improved cooling. The billet input shaft and forward clutch drum address common weak points in the E4OD platform, preventing spline failures and snap ring blowouts.
