The SunCoast Category 3 E4OD transmission includes a bushing kit, TransGo Tugger Kit, solenoid pack, 45 element intermediate sprag, intermediate band, billet 300 maraging input shaft, and billet forward clutch drum. The converter in this transmission is upgraded with a SunCoast Category 1 Billet Triple-Disc Torque Converter which includes a 3-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. The clutch kit includes Alto Red Eagle clutches along with Kolene steels. Red Eagle Friction is designed to limit "slip" and provide high heat resistance. The transmission also features a heavy-duty 45-element intermediate sprag, a TransGo HD2 Tugger Kit for adjustable shift firmness and improved cooling/lubrication, and a new solenoid pack for consistent shifts and long clutch life. The intermediate band is made of carbon fiber for higher heat resistance. The input shaft is a 300 Maraging Billet Input Shaft, and the forward drum is a billet 4140 heat-treated stress-relieved steel unit to correct common spline failure and snap ring blow-out issues. The included Category 1 SunCoast Torque Converter is designed for heavy-duty towing and hauling, improving vehicle response with furnace-brazed fins, hardened turbine splines, and carbon graphite clutches.
