The SunCoast Category 3 E4OD transmission is built for up to 450HP and includes a bushing kit, TransGo Tugger Kit, solenoid pack, 45 element intermediate sprag, intermediate band, billet 300 maraging input shaft, and billet forward clutch drum. It also features a SunCoast Category 1 Billet Triple-Disc Torque Converter with a 3-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. The clutch kit uses Alto Red Eagle clutches and Kolene steels for high heat resistance and reduced slip. The heavy-duty 45-element intermediate sprag replaces the weaker factory units to prevent failure under high fatigue. The TransGo HD2 Tugger Kit for the valve body improves shifting, cooling, and lubrication, and corrects common E4OD issues like codes 628, P1740, P1744, soft shifts, and converter burn-up. A new solenoid pack and bushing kit are included. The carbon fiber intermediate band offers increased heat resistance. The factory input shaft is replaced with a 300 Maraging Billet Input Shaft, and the factory forward drum is upgraded to a billet 4140 heat-treated stress-relieved steel unit to address common spline and snap ring failures. The torque converter is designed for heavy-duty towing and hauling, featuring a billet lockup apply piston, CNC-machined billet steel cover, balloon plate, 4140 turbine splines, 4140 hardened hub, 3 carbon graphite clutch discs, furnace-brazed fins, Torrington thrust bearing stator design, pressurized hot soak leak testing, and computer-balancing.
