This is a complete 4R100 transmission package with a torque converter, engineered for superior strength, reliability, and optimized performance in heavy-duty conditions. It replaces the E40D transmission and was mated to the 7.3L Power Stroke diesel in Ford trucks from 1999-2003. The transmission includes Alto Red Eagle clutches with Kolene steels, a heavy-duty 45-element intermediate sprag (53% increase over factory), a TransGo HD2 Tugger Kit for adjustable shift firmness and improved cooling/lubrication, a new solenoid pack, a new bushing kit (including front pump bushing), and a new carbon fiber intermediate band. The included Category 1 torque converter is designed for everyday duties like towing and hauling, with furnace-brazed fins and hardened turbine splines, and carbon-graphitic clutches for precise lock-up. It is not intended for racing.
