The SunCoast Category 1 E4OD transmission includes a bushing kit, TransGo Tugger Kit, solenoid pack, 45-element intermediate sprag, and intermediate band. It also features a SunCoast Category 1 Billet Triple-Disc Torque Converter with a 3-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. The clutch kit uses Alto Red Eagle clutches and Kolene steels for high friction coefficients and heat resistance. The intermediate sprag is upgraded to a heavy-duty 45 element sprag (up to 53% increase over factory) to prevent premature failure. The transmission uses a TransGo HD2 Tugger Kit for valve body calibration, offering adjustable shift firmness, improved converter feed capacity for better cooling, and reliable downhill braking. A new solenoid pack ensures consistent shifts and long clutch life. A new bushing kit, including a new front pump bushing, is included. The intermediate band is carbon fiber for higher heat resistance. The Category 1 torque converter is designed for everyday duties, including heavy towing and hauling, with furnace-brazed fins, hardened turbine splines, and carbon graphite clutches for precise lock-up. It is not intended for racing.
