SUNCOAST Oversized Converter Release Regulator Valve Kit 95740-05K

The Sun Coast Converters 95740-05K is an oversized converter release regulator valve kit designed to address specific transmission issues. In ZF6HP19/26/32 (Gen. 1) and Ford 6R60, 6R80, 6R100 units, wear in the bore of the converter release regulator valve can lead to converter clutch slippage and related diagnostic trouble codes.

This kit includes a hardcoat anodized aluminum valve, a tuned spring, and an end plug. The oversized valve combats premature wear and restores proper lube pressure regulation and converter clutch apply/release timing. Installation of this kit aims to correct symptoms such as excess TCC slip RPM, harsh apply/release, low TCC release pressure, rough idle in Reverse, harsh downshifts, flare shifts, and converter overheating.
