Description

The Sun Coast Converters 92835-45K is an oversized low/reverse switch checkball sleeve kit designed for Chrysler 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE, and 68RFE transmissions. It addresses common wear in the low/reverse bore, which can cause hydraulic fluid cross-leaks and lead to issues like burnt clutches, delayed or no Reverse, and loss of engine braking.

This kit includes an oversized steel sleeve and checkballs, allowing the checkball to operate in an unworn bore. By reconditioning the bore and installing this kit, hydraulic integrity is restored, enabling normal shift operation and preventing further premature wear. The kit includes the outboard sleeve, inboard sleeve, and two checkballs (with one extra).
