The Sun Coast Converters 35740-37K is a priming valve and seal kit designed for specific Chrysler and ZF transmissions. This kit addresses issues related to variable force solenoids, which control clutch apply/release, torque converter clutch apply/release, and line pressure. It ensures proper flow and pressure to solenoids, critical during hot conditions and low pressure, preventing delayed engagement or wrong gear starts. The kit also limits excessive solenoid feed pressure that can cause gear ratio codes and harsh shifts.

The kit includes a hardcoat anodized valve to combat wear, a scarf-cut seal that expands to prevent leakage past wear on the valve spool, and an o-ringed end plug to seal the oil circuit.
