SUNCOAST Sonnax Reducing Valve Kit 35740-38K

The Sun Coast Converters 35740-38K is a reducing valve kit designed for transmissions with ZF8HP50, ZF8HP75, and Chrysler 850RE models. Vehicles equipped with these transmissions may experience issues such as insufficient line rise in drive ranges, soft shifts, and burnt clutches. These problems can stem from wear between the reducing valve and sleeve, creating a path for critical pressure to leak.

This kit features upgraded materials and minimal clearances to prevent further wear and restore proper hydraulic control. The sleeve is constructed from wear-resistant billet aluminum, and the valve is made of hardcoat anodized aluminum to combat premature wear. Additionally, the O-ringed sleeve ensures a positive seal, preventing critical fluid from leaking to the exhaust.
