It's designed for the Ford 10R60 10-speed automatic transmission, combining CVT-like efficiency with a traditional automatic's feel. The 10R60 offers a wide 7.39 gear ratio spread and a low 4.70 first gear for strong off-the-line performance, with small steps between gears to maintain ideal RPMs and three quick-downshifting overdrive gears.
