Overview

The Trick Flow Super 23 175 is an assembled aluminum cylinder head designed for Small Block Chevrolet engines. It features Fast As Cast runners for improved port velocity, promoting low-end torque and high RPM horsepower on small bore engines. The CNC-profiled chambers enhance combustion efficiency, leading to more power, better drivability, and increased throttle response.

The Trick Flow Super 23 175 cylinder head is an assembled unit constructed from A356-T61 aluminum castings, featuring 3/4" thick decks for enhanced strength and durability. This combination results in increased power output, improved drivability, and a more responsive throttle for street performance applications. The head also includes a competition multi-angle valve job, angled spark plugs, and raised valve cover rails to provide better rocker arm clearance and minimize the risk of oil leaks. This assembled cylinder head comes with premium components, including stainless steel intake and exhaust valves (1.940" and 1.500" respectively), bronze valve guides, 7° machined locks, and chromoly retainers. It features single PAC Racing valve springs with a 1.250" outside diameter and is compatible with hydraulic flat tappet camshafts. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 heads are designed to accept most original accessories and are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747-1 for 1995 and earlier GM vehicles with Chevy 262–350 engines. These cylinder heads are specifically designed for Chevrolet Small Block Gen I V8 engines with a minimum bore size of 3.736 inches. Applications include 4.6L/283 (1957-1967), 5.4L/327 (1962-1969), 4.9L/302 (1967-1968), 5.7L/350 (1967-1986), and 5.0L/305 (1976-1986) engines, all utilizing a stud-style rocker arm mounting. Note that for 400 c.i. applications, drilling steam holes into the head is required. Sold individually.
