Overview

The Trick Flow Super 23® 195 is a bare cylinder head designed for Small Block Chevrolet engines. It features a 72cc CNC-machined combustion chamber and a 195cc intake runner volume. This cast aluminum head has rectangular intake ports, D-port exhaust ports, and accepts most original accessories.

The Trick Flow Super 23® 195 cylinder heads are designed as a high-performance, direct-fit replacement for factory heads on Small Block Chevrolet engines. These bare castings are ideal for 302-406 c.i.d. engines, offering high-velocity intake runners to enhance both low-rpm torque and high-rpm horsepower. The Fast As Cast® technology provides flow characteristics close to CNC-ported heads at a more accessible price point. Constructed from A356-T61 aluminum, these heads boast 3/4" thick decks for increased strength and durability, along with improved 3/8" pushrod clearance. Specific features include a competition multi-angle valve job, angled spark plugs, and raised valve cover rails for better rocker arm clearance and reduced oil leaks. This bare head has a 72cc combustion chamber volume, 195cc intake runner volume, and 72cc exhaust runner volume. The intake valve diameter is 2.020 in., and the exhaust valve diameter is 1.600 in. The intake and exhaust ports are standard location with a rectangular intake shape and D-port exhaust shape. Bronze valve guides and ductile iron, un-machined valve seats are included. These cylinder heads require a minimum bore diameter of 4.000 in. They are sold individually and are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747-1 for 1995 and earlier GM vehicles with Chevy 262-350 engines. While sold as bare castings, assembled versions are also available with premium components.
