Super B Single SX S358 Turbo Kit w/ Billet Wheel

The BD Diesel Super B Single SX S358 Turbo Kit is engineered as a complete, easy bolt-on performance replacement for your Dodge 5.9L truck's original turbocharger. At the heart of this kit is a custom-built Borg Warner S358 turbocharger featuring a Forged Milled Billet Wheel. This advanced design ensures rapid spool-up with no surging, while also promoting lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) and less smoke. The turbo has a 58mm (2.28in) compressor wheel and a 74mm (2.91in) turbine wheel with a 0.80 A/R ratio, capable of 870 CFM and up to 450 HP. Key components included in the kit are a Cast Outlet Elbow, V-Band Clamps, a Downpipe, a Wastegate Fooler, and Heat Wrap. The turbo itself utilizes special low inertia, full-floating 6-pad thrust bearings, offering superior durability compared to standard 3-pad bearings found in some "box turbos." The dual volute T3 turbine housing is designed to leverage low RPM exhaust pulses for improved turbine response, contributing to an efficient boost-to-drive pressure ratio for high power output with minimal EGTs. This kit offers perfect fitment to the stock turbocharger inlet connection points. It also features BD's Heavy Duty Wastegate and bracket to maintain consistent boost pressure and prevent over-speed damage. A turnbuckle boost control is included for easy adjustment to accommodate varying altitudes and performance tuning needs. Many of these systems can also be upgraded to a twin turbo setup for even greater power capabilities or enhanced towing performance.
