The Empi 3919 Volkswagen Super Beetle Carpet Kit is a 9-piece interior carpet set designed for 1973-1977 Super Beetle models. It features black loop pile automotive-grade carpet and includes a driver-side foot pad and a passenger-side footrest.

This kit is specifically cut and fitted to accommodate the factory footrest on the passenger side. Installation without this footrest may result in an open gap and improper laying of the carpet.

The Empi 3919 Volkswagen Super Beetle Carpet Kit provides a comprehensive interior upgrade for your 1973-1977 Super Beetle hardtop. This 9-piece kit is crafted from black, automotive-grade loop pile carpet, offering both comfort and noise reduction while ensuring superior wear and stain resistance thanks to its hi-count weave. A key feature is the inclusion of a passenger-side footrest, which is integral to the correct installation and appearance of the carpet. The carpet is pre-cut, bound, and sewn for an easier installation process, resulting in a smooth, lump-free finish. This footrest is a small piece of sheet metal mounted at an angle on the passenger side foot area, against the firewall. If this original footrest has been removed or is missing, the carpet kit may not lay correctly, potentially leaving an exposed gap in the floorboard. This kit is intended for the Volkswagen Type 1 "Super Beetle" Hard Top models from model years 1973 through 1977. Ensure your vehicle retains the factory passenger side footrest for optimal fitment and aesthetic results.
