Description

The ACCEL 140001 SuperCoil is an ignition coil designed for faster rise time, longer spark duration, and improved performance. Its oil-filled, oversized molded case with integral cooling fins ensures cool operation and long life. An extra-tall tan alkyd tower and integral voltage dam prevent flashover.

This ignition coil is suitable for breakerless electronic ignition systems and includes a 0.85-ohm ballast resistor for points-ignition applications, to be used in conjunction with the vehicle's original ballast resistor if equipped. It is effective up to 6,500 rpm.
