Super Competition Full-Length Header

The Hooker Headers 5215-1HKR Super Competition Full Length Header is engineered to maximize horsepower and deliver it at the optimal point in the power curve. This header utilizes tuned-length primary tubes, which are mandrel-bent from 18-gauge mild steel to ensure smooth exhaust flow and consistent tube diameter. The result is increased exhaust scavenging and velocity for improved performance. Built with industry-leading welds and 5/16-inch thick machined flanges for a perfect seal, this header is designed for durability and optimal performance. It features a long transition collector for decreased back pressure and a fenderwell exit. The finish is a ceramic coating for added protection. The kit includes all necessary hardware for a complete installation. It is compatible with 1967-1969 Barracuda/Dart/Swinger models and 1970-1975 Dart/Swinger/Demon/Duster/Valiant/Aspen/Diplomat/Volare vehicles equipped with 383-440 cubic inch engines. It is not CARB compliant. Note that ceramic-coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat.
