These long tube headers are crafted from durable 16-gauge mild steel and finished with a silver metallic ceramic coating for durability and heat resistance. The primary tubes measure 1-5/8 inches in diameter and are 28 inches long, leading to a 3-inch diameter collector designed to reduce back pressure and increase power. These headers are specifically designed for D-Port exhaust manifolds and are compatible with 350-455 cubic inch Pontiac engines. They are intended for use on 1970-1979 Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am models, as well as 1964-1975 Pontiac GTO, Le Mans, and Grand Am vehicles. For optimal performance and longevity, ceramic-coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure, and it is recommended to use a cast-iron exhaust manifold as a heat sink during this process.
