Overview

The SoCal Diesel Super Damper provides balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations at all RPM. It features laser-etched degree marks and is a direct OEM replacement. This harmonic balancer is essential for high-performance and modified trucks to protect against harmful engine harmonics and exceeds SFI 18.1 Safety Certification for competition use. Its 3-piece design allows for field servicing of the hub, outer ring, and counterweights. Unlike slip-fit factory dampers, it features a press fit onto the crankshaft snout, making it an integral part of the crankshaft and increasing dampening efficiency. Installation requires a specific Super Damper Installation/Removal tool.
