For 1973-1977 hardtop frames, the distance between the mounting holes is 51-1/8 inches, and users should measure their frame to ensure proper fitment.

The G Force Performance RCAL-700 is a heavy-duty transmission crossmember crafted from Super Duty Steel, engineered for 1973-1977 GM A-body vehicles. This crossmember is designed to accommodate a wide array of popular transmissions, including the 700R4, 4L60, pre-1996 4L60E, TKO-500, TKO-600, and TKX. It also supports 1996 and later 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions when used in conjunction with LS engine swaps. A polyurethane transmission mount is recommended for optimal performance, though the mount itself (GMTM) is sold separately. For owners of 1973-1977 hardtop frames, the distance between the crossmember mounting holes is precisely 51-1/8 inches; it is crucial to measure your specific frame before ordering to guarantee compatibility. This crossmember fits a broad range of models including Regal, LeMans, Chevelle, Cutlass, El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo, Century, Grand Prix, Grand Am, GTO, Vista Cruiser, Laguna, and Sprint. However, it is important to note specific exclusions: this crossmember will not fit 1973-1975 El Camino models with boxed frame rails, nor will it fit Laguna models with boxed frame rails.
