Super StreetFighter 700R4 Automatic Transmission

The TCI Super StreetFighter 700R4 Transmission (Part #371200) is a performance-oriented automatic transmission engineered to bridge the gap between street use and full competition packages, capable of handling up to 1000 horsepower. This upgraded version of the 700R4 incorporates a robust 300M input shaft, significantly enhancing its torque capacity. The 3-4 clutches have been upgraded to better manage higher torque levels and prolong their service life. Additionally, an improved sungear shaft is implemented to reduce friction and increase the transmission's overall longevity. Key performance enhancements include an adjustable band pin, an extra-wide band constructed with High Energy material, and increased line pressure. These features collectively boost the transmission's durability and torque handling capabilities, making it ideal for demanding street/strip applications. The Super StreetFighter 700R4 is designed with a 30-spline, 30 1/2" length and is suitable for Small and Big Block Chevy engines. This transmission is compatible with Chevy V8 and V6 applications originally equipped with or retrofitted with a 700R4 transmission. It can be retrofitted into 1982-1984 applications with the use of a 30-spline torque converter. A TCI universal wiring kit (Part # 376600) is pre-installed, allowing for independent wiring from the vehicle computer and facilitating its use in earlier vehicles not originally equipped with a 700R4. The transmission itself is a lock-up converter type with a first gear ratio of 3.06 and a second gear ratio of 1.63.
